Corporate Relations

Corporate Relations (CR) was established in 2016, with an aim to capitalize on the already strong relationship that IIT Delhi enjoys with the Industry and to further strengthen it by facilitating larger IITD-Industry collaborations. We have a high performing team that is actively engaged in catalyzing transfer of knowledge and emerging technologies from academia to industry and leveraging the power of multiple-society connect initiatives to catalyze cross-disciplinary learning avenues and cross-cultural solution building.

In our efforts to rise in a global landscape, Corporate Relations is at the forefront of fostering a sustainable environment for innovation, promotion of entrepreneurship, and towards building a responsive ecosystem to meet these demands in the global marketplace catering to various worldwide industries. We believe, breaking down the silos to catalyze Industry-Academia collaborations is a key to success for techno-solution building.

Message from Dean's Desk

These are exciting times for industry-academia collaborations! Worldwide, there is the clear realisation that, disruptive and breakthrough technological inventions of the future would result from the confluence of disparate streams of innovation, not from isolated trenches. The amalgam of deep and long-term research, and solid execution focus, which results from academia-industry collaboration, represents a potent combination, waiting to be harnessed effectively. The industry’s relentless move up the value chain sets the stage for fruitful long-term academic partnerships, and its corporate social responsibility (CSR) focus in recent years opens new channels for engagement with research institutions.

The office of Corporate Relations was created to facilitate IIT Delhi’s fast-growing associations with industry. The multi-faceted platform enables multiple modes of corporate engagement for the institute – industry outreach and identifying potential collaborators, guiding industry partners through various CSR schemes and their execution in the institute, and guiding institute faculty through the industry collaboration steps from establishing initial contacts through project execution and closure.

Meet The Team

Prof. Preeti Ranjan Panda,
DEAN

As the Dean, Corporate Relations, Prof. Preeti Ranjan Panda heads the office of Corporate Relations and oversees the institute’s major industry partnerships. He received his B. Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras and his M. S. and Ph.D. degrees in Information and Computer Science from the University of California at Irvine. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. He has previously worked at Texas Instruments and Synopsys Inc. and has been a visiting scholar at Stanford University.

Prof. Panda leads the MARG research group with interests in embedded systems, computer architecture, emerging memory technologies, AI/ML hardware and systems, electronic design automation, and low power computing. He is the author of two books: Memory issues in Embedded Systems-on-chip: Optimizations and Exploration (Kluwer Academic Publishers) and Power-efficient System Design (Springer). He is a recipient of the IBM Faculty Award, the IESA Techno Mentor Award, IITD Teaching Excellence Award, and the DST Young Scientist Award. Research works authored by Prof. Panda and his students have received several honours, including Best Paper nominations at CODES+ISSS, DATE, ASPDAC, and VLSI Design Conference, and Most downloaded paper of ACM TODAES journal. Prof. Panda’s research has been supported by Intel, IBM, Freescale, Semiconductor Research Corporation, Cadence, and Samsung.

Prof. Panda currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Embedded Systems Letters. He has served on the editorial boards of several major journals including IEEE Transactions on CAD, ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems, and International Journal of Parallel Programming, as Technical Program Chair of CASES and CODES+ISSS, on the steering committee of ASPDAC conference, and on the ACM SIGDA executive committee. Roopam Jha
Consultant

Roopam has a rich experience of over 15 years in Telecommunications and Media. She has a proven track record in Marketing, Product and Brand Management, Customer life-cycle management, Communication, Digital Marketing, Market Research and Training. She has an excellent relationship and interpersonal skills. Garnered strong analytical, team leadership, problem solving and organizational abilities while working in large organisations of repute like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, Aircel, Reliance Communications and Hindustan Times. She has been on a fast track in all the organisations she has worked for and has been instrumental in their growth story. Roopam holds an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune and Graduation in Mass Communication. She’s also a loving mother of two, and enjoys music and travelling!

Paramjit Singh
Project Manager

Paramjit is 12+ experienced Certified Product Management Specialist skilled at delivering commercially successful products from scratch. Proficient in driving business results in product development, technical project management, data driven product design and metrics driven business outcome. Armed with strong academic background (EMP from DMS IIT Delhi, PGDM Marketing & B.E.Mechanical), he delivered key assignments in most revered automobile brands like Mahindra & Mahindra, Heromotocorp & Hyundai MOBIS. Extremely deft at collaboration, relationship building, business reports, strategizing and implementing project from conceptualisation to finish stage. His breadth and depth of experience include digital marketing, business development, events management and market research. With a flair in IoT, AI/ML and data analytics, he successfully delivered project on IoT dash cams in his latest assignment.He possesses a good understanding of technology and isskilled in business planning , team management and process management. He is PMP trained and has extensive experience in project lifecycle management.

RUPANSHI TOTEJA
PROJECT MANAGER

Rupanshi is currently working as a Project Manager at IIT Delhi where she is acting as a driving force behind the success of every project. She has prior experience of 3 years in academic research. She is pursuing her Ph.D. from Jagan Institute of Management Studies and has completed MBA with a Marketing specialization from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi. She has done her graduation from Lakshmi Bai College, Delhi University. She has published various research papers in prestigious journals of Web of Science, UGC Care, and has also presented various papers at National and International conferences. Some of her core skills include organization of work and self-motivation. Learning from others and gaining new perspectives excites her. She also believes that one should be always grateful for everything they have!

AYUSH RANJAN
PROJECT MANAGER

Ayush is a passionate and hard-working Project Manager at Corporate Relations office, IIT Delhi. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal. He has experience working for national and international companies in the project management andinfrastructure sector. He holds a Diploma in Psychology and various certifications from Google, IBM and Stanford in areas of Project Management, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He also has experience in diverse sectors of Non-profit industry during the Covid period and hasbeen associated with multiple NGOs nationally and internationally. He has worked in variousdevelopmental sectors relating to education, skill development, climate and wildlife conservation.
