Abheek Singhi is a Senior Partner and Managing Director with The Boston Consulting Group. He has led BCG’s Consumer and Retail practice in Asia-Pacific and part of the Global Practice Leadership Team. He was nominated as a BCG Fellow in 2016. Abheek has partnered closely with clients across various sectors in Asia, North America, Europe and Middle East in delivering significant impact – both with large corporations as well as mid-sized organizations. He has deep experience in strategy development and deployment. In recent years, he has worked closely with organizations to deploy the impact of digital technologies and analytics for their business. Abheek has been a member of the National FMCG Committee and the National Retail Committee of CII in the past. In that role, he has worked to monitor the industry trends and shape industry-wide responses. He was also selected by the Aspen Ananta Institute as a Fellow and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Abheek has coauthored the book The $10 Trillion Prize (published by Harvard Business Review Press). He has written several reports on the Indian economy across sectors, and is a frequent contributor to national /international publications and a speaker at leading business conferences and seminars.

Ajay Bhardwaj is the CEO and Founder of Anthem Biosciences Pvt. Ltd, a leading DRAP (Discovery Research Alliance Partner) to leading pharmaceutical, and agro-science companies Globally.After his schooling in Delhi at Delhi Public School, Ajay went on to study Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Delhi in chemical engineering, graduating in 1982. Later he went to the US, on a fellowship, to Louisiana State University for his MS in Chemical Engineering with Fermentation as specialization. He chose to return to India in 1984. First job was with Max India, (then a Ranbaxy company) and a startup, as a project engineer. After over a year there, due to his interest in biotechnology, he moved to Bangalore to work with Biocon, a fledgling start up at that time. Biocon’s annual sales were less than USD 50,000, at that time. He took on the challenging task of building the company’s business. Twenty one years later when he left the company as President, in 2006, the company had annual sales of USD 225 million and did business in 45 countries. In the short time of its existence, Anthem has built a reputation of being a top tier supplier of R&D services to innovator companies in the pharmaceutical, agro-science, material science domains, making it the second largest Indian player in this space.Using the large R&D resources available to it Anthem has developed many products in the Nutraceutical, fermentation and API domain. This coupled with the fact that the plant is USFDA approved has made the company’s products popular with Indian and Global customers. The company employs 1400 people, mostly Scientists and is one of the fastest growing Biotech Companies in the Country with over 200 customers Worldwide, among them some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the World. Ajay enjoys yoga, reading and travelling.

Punita Kumar-Sinha, PhD, CFA, has focused on investment management and financial markets during her 30-year career. She also has significant governance and Board experience across India and North America. Dr. Kumar-Sinha has been investing in emerging markets since the late 1980s and pioneered some of the first foreign investments in the Indian subcontinent in the early 1990s.Currently, she is the Founding Partner, Pacific Paradigm Advisors, an independent investment advisory focused on Asia and is a Chairperson of InCred AMC. Over the last decade, she has served as an Independent Director and Chair of many Board committees for several companies in India including Infosys, JSW Steel, Blackstone Embassy REIT, Rallis, Jagran and Lupin Limited. Dr. Kumar-Sinha is also a Governor on the board of the CFA Institute, which is the premier association for investment professional globally. Additionally, she joined the CFA Institute Research Foundation Board of Trustees. Prior to this, Dr. Kumar-Sinha was a Senior Managing Director of Blackstone and the Head & Chief Investment Officer of Blackstone Asia Advisors. Dr. Kumar-Sinha was also the Senior Portfolio Manager and CIO for The India Fund (NYSE: IFN), one of the largest India funds in the US, for almost 15 years; during this time, she managed several Asia funds as well. Prior to joining Blackstone, Dr. Kumar-Sinha was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. and CIBC World Markets, where she also managed India and Asia funds. She has also worked at Batterymarch (a Legg Mason company), Standish Ayer & Wood (a BNY Mellon company), JP Morgan, and IFC/World Bank. Dr. Kumar-Sinha is frequently featured in the media and at global conferences as an expert commentator on Asian capital markets and women’s issues. She has also anchored many TV shows on major economic trends, key policy issues for India, and global capital markets. Dr. Kumar-Sinha has a PhD and a master’s in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. She has an MBA and is a CFA charter holder. Dr. Kumar-Sinha is a member of CFA Institute, a member of the CFA societies of Boston and India, a TiE Charter Member, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Dr. Kumar-Sinha has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Delhi. In addition she was awarded the Best Woman Director 2016 by Asian Centre For Corporate Governance and Sustainability. Dr. Kumar-Sinha was featured as one of the top 2019 Directors to Watch: Racial and Ethnic Diversity by Directors and Boards publication. Dr. Kumar-Sinha was featured in the list of “Most Influential Women” in India by Business World.

Soumitra Dutta is a Professor of Management at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, New York. He is also the founder and President of Portulans Institute, a Washington DC based non-partisan non-profit institute focused on research and outreach on technology and innovation. Previously he was the founding Dean of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and the 11th Anne and Elmer Lindseth Dean of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Prior to July 2012, he was the Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology at INSEAD and the founding director of eLab, a center of excellence in the digital economy. Soumitra Dutta brings a unique perspective on business and technology strategy in a global world. With a PhD in artificial intelligence and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, Dutta brings a deep grounding in data sciences and advanced technologies. Having spent more than three decades of his career in leading business schools across the Atlantic (INSEAD and Cornell University) he has conducted extensive research in and consulted with leading global firms on building effective technology and innovation strategies. As the co-founder and founder respectively of two major global technology/innovation indices, the Network Readiness Index (published for 15 years by the World Economic Forum) and the Global Innovation Index (published by the World Intellectual Property Organization), Dutta has worked with several governments on formulating effective technology and innovation policies. Having served on the boards of major international corporations including Sodexo, Dassault Systemes and ZS Associates, he is at home dealing with strategic business issues at the highest levels. He also enjoys working with smaller startups (many started by his students) and he has co-founded two technology startups – Fisheye Analytics (a social media analytics firm that was sold to the WPP Communications Group in 2013) and Igesia (an Edutech firm started in 2019). He is deeply involved with non-profits and is on the boards of several global business schools including Centrum Catholica (Peru), HEC Montreal, University of Los Andes (Colombia), ESADE (Spain) and others. He has chaired the largest business school accrediting agency, AACSB and is currently the chair of GBSN (the Global Business School Network). He has been involved for more than a decade with the activities of the World Economic Forum and has served as the co-Chair of the Forum’s Global Future Council on Innovation Ecosystems. He is a powerful public speaker and brings a refreshing global perspective from his deep personal knowledge of Asia, Europe and the Americas. In 2017, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award from his alma mater, the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Dr. Venkat Padmanabhan is Deputy Managing Director at Microsoft Research India in Bengaluru. His research interests are broadly in networked and mobile systems, and his work over the years has led to highly cited papers and paper awards, technology transfers within Microsoft, and also industry impact. He received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 2016, and several test of time paper awards from ACM SIGMOBILE, ACM SenSys, and ACM SIGMM. He was also among those recognized with the SIGCOMM Networking Systems Award 2020, for contributions to the ns family of network simulators. Venkat holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi (from where he received the Distinguished Alumnus award in 2018) and an M.S. and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, all in Computer Science, and has been elected a Fellow of the INAE, the IEEE, and the ACM. He is an adjunct professor at the Indian Institute of Science and was previously an affiliate faculty member at the University of Washington. Vinay is a global automotive industry professional, with over 30 years of leadership experience in India, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.Associated with Ford Motor Company for 20 years, Vinay has directed international marketing, sales and service operations at Ford India, Ford Global Business Services (GBS), the Philippines and at Asia Pacific, launching several new auto models. As Global Consulting Director – Automotive, with Counterpoint Technology, a leading Asian headquartered research firm, Vinay monitored technology and market trends of the disruptive mobility industry. As Founder and Principal of MillenStrat Advisory & Research, he specializes in developing business and communication strategies focused on Millennial and Gen-Z customers and employees. Since Septemer2020, Vinay has taken on a lead role, as IIT Delhi’s Endowment Foundation’s first CEO. Responsible for fundraising and alumni outreach, Vinay is establishing an enduring spirit of philanthropy amongst alumni, faculty, corporations and other stakeholders, to support IIT Delhi's advancement. A marketing expert with technical and finance experience, Vinay has a mechanical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) and an MBA from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA.

Vishvesh is Managing Director with Accenture India practice based out of Gurgaon, India. Vishvesh has been working with Accenture for over two decades helping clients think through their key business priorities with an external partner. These priorities include growth, operational excellence, organization design and productivity and M&A. Vishvesh also incubated Accenture's Sustainability practice in India and now works in Accenture's Global Sustainability Growth and Strategy practice. Vishvesh has led numerous industry studies with organizations such as CII, FICCI, NASSCOM, UN Global Compact Network, India. Vishvesh graduated from IIT Delhi in 1995 as B Tech, Mechanical Engineering and did his MBA from IIM Lucknow in 1998. Vishvesh was an avid cricket player in his hostel days.
